Does it seem like your stressful life is starting to get the better of you? Don't let it. If anxiety was a disease, it could be said that it has reached epidemic amounts in the US, and most likely world-wide. The issue is that people, specifically women, do not know how to deal with it correctly. Try educating yourself. Here are a few key reasons for anxiety and how to treat them. This is where I found this: naturesbalance.com/stress_less/
Stress-induced frenzy
One major trigger of anxiety is the idea that you don't have enough time to get anything done you needs to do. However, according to Robert Leahy, Ph.D., author of The Worry Cure, "Time pressure is almost always artificially produced, and a lot of people never notice the things that go undone." Do not worry if your bookshelves aren't dusted or there are a few toys scattered around the floor. True friends won't care and husbands do not usually notice.
The face in the mirror
Another thing women often stress about is their physical appearance. We all want to look our best, but we often expend a ton of time and effort that is entirely unnecessary. Try making things easier on yourself. Julien Farel, a New York City hairstylist, suggests, "A shaggy style with a lot of layers, or any short haircut [like a bob with bangs] are the best styles for a low-maintenance and flattering look."
This too shall pass
Do not let stress rule your life. Just relax, don't sweat the small stuff, do not worry be happy, and follow any number of other old-fashioned clich's about how you can live a happy, successful life. Those old sayings have become clich'd for a reason-they work.
